The handle works as it should. Please verify this is the right part for your vehicle. All the tabs for mounting it are there and not broken.
It is silver in color. You can probably just use your bracket. Up for your consideration is a Cadillac Srx rear license plate housing pocket. I do not know if the light bulbs work as have no way of testing them.
I have the bracket that mounts to housing and tailgate which i'll include, but think it may be bent a little.
